Senior Analyst

Ross Benes is an EMARKETER senior analyst covering TV and streaming. He covers these topics through in-depth reports, webinars, podcasts, articles, and event appearances. He joined EMARKETER six years ago as a newsletter writer.

Previously, Ross reported on ad tech for Digiday. At Digiday, he also helped produce programmatic summits where he presented and moderated sessions.

His extensive editorial background includes bylines at trade publications like Adweek and AdExchanger and consumer-facing publishers including the Wall Street Journal, Entertainment Weekly, The Nation, and Smithsonian magazine. Additionally, Ross has published four nonfiction books.
